So I've been MIA for honestly a long time from Deviant. I've missed it but a lot has been going on.
I quit my full-time job and I have embarked on a new career journey. I decided working for corporate America is just not my thing. I want to make my own hours, I want to have a life that doesn't revolve around someone else making money.
There's a saying " I don't live to work, I work to live". I have embraced that saying.
I am now a freelance designer and illustrator.

Hi Everyone,
I generally doon't write journals. Not a chatty person I guess. But I stumbled upon this and thought it was an interesting contest.
I personally am hoping to win the core membership. I've been on DA for 11 years and never been able to get it.
The theme of the contest is: New Beginnings - you may interpret as you wish and you may use any medium (except literature).

My entry is "Awakening" I created it a little bit ago, but "new beginnings" is actually part of the general idea behind this piece.
